A contribution to the commitment of voluntary associations
Businesses can play an active role in supporting worthy initiatives, so Motor Power Company wanted to provide its contribution to two associations engaged in its territory.
The company has offered its employees the purchase of computers and monitors that are no longer used. The funds raised from the sale, which ended within a few days, were donated to the "Grade" Association and will help support the activities of CORE, the Oncology Center of Reggio Emilia which is part of the city hospital. Funding for research and patient care, but also a contribution to the environment: the reuse of IT material is in fact a good practice that extends the life of objects, according to the principles of the circular economy.
Also in 2020, as already for some years, the amount earmarked for the purchase of Christmas gifts for customers was donated to the "Chernobyl Association". The Belarusian children will stay with some Italian families for a month: a period of recovery for their health, compromised by the still unhealthy environments in which they were born and raised.
